7 10 years of Civil Litigation experience to join GROWING litigation practice
Commercial disputes, construction, real estate, labor and employment, insurance, business law
Trial or first-chair hearing experience preferred
Existing professional network or demonstrated ability to develop client relationships preferred
Experience representing businesses, developers, builders, contractors, insurers,
or commercial clients preferred
150 billable hours per month and Partnership-track opportunities

About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who enjoys managing complex litigation while building long-term client relationships. The successful candidate will handle matters from initial case evaluation through trial, arbitration, or resolution and will work directly with clients and firm leadership.
Our litigation practice includes matters involving:
Commercial and business disputes
Construction litigation
Contract disputes
Real estate litigation
Employment litigation
Insurance-related litigation
Other complex civil litigation matters
Responsibilities
Manage a diverse litigation caseload from inception through resolution.
Develop litigation strategy and provide practical legal advice to clients.
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, dispositive motions, and appellate briefs.
Conduct depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials.
Manage all aspects of discovery, including electronic discovery where appropriate.
Work directly with clients to understand business objectives and provide timely communication.
Collaborate with attorneys across multiple practice groups to deliver comprehensive legal solutions.
Mentor junior attorneys and litigation support staff.
Participate in business development and client relationship initiatives.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
Licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas.
710 years of civil litigation experience.
Significant experience in Texas state and/or federal courts.
Excellent legal research, writing, and advocacy skills.
Strong deposition, motion practice, and courtroom experience.
Exceptional organizational and case management abilities.
Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
Demonstrated commitment to outstanding client service.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience representing businesses, developers, builders, contractors, insurers, or commercial clients.
Trial or first-chair hearing experience.
Existing professional network or demonstrated ability to develop client relationships.
