The firm focuses primarily on business and entertainment litigation and is known for providing strategic legal representation on sophisticated matters. This is an opportunity for an experienced litigator to handle meaningful cases, work directly with firm leadership, build client relationships, and take ownership of matters from inception through resolution.ResponsibilitiesIndependently manage a diverse litigation caseload from inception through resolutionDraft and argue motions, pleadings, briefs, and other legal documentsHandle litigation matters in California state and federal courtsManage all phases of discovery, including taking and defending depositionsPrepare clients, witnesses, and experts for litigation proceedingsProvide strategic legal counsel and communicate directly with clientsNegotiate settlements and represent clients in mediation, arbitration, and court proceedingsHandle crisis management matters requiring timely legal analysis and responseCollaborate with partners and senior attorneys on complex business and entertainment disputesAssist with client development and relationship buildingMentor junior attorneys as the firm continues to growQualificationsJuris Doctor degree from an accredited law schoolActive member of the California State Bar in good standingMinimum 5 years of litigation experience at a law firmExperience with motion practice, depositions, and trial or arbitration proceedingsStrong knowledge of California civil procedure and state and federal court practiceExperience in at least one core practice area including business litigation, entertainment litigation, commercial litigation, employment litigation, real estate litigation, intellectual property litigation, or other complex civil litigationExcellent legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skillsStrong analytical skills and ability to develop effective legal strategiesAbility to independently manage cases while working collaboratively with attorneys and firm leadershipIdeal CandidateExperienced litigator with business or entertainment litigation experience preferredMinimum 5 years of experience in at least one area of law practiced by the firmSelf-directed attorney who thrives in a fast-paced environmentBenefitsHealth benefits availableOrigination bonusPerformance bonusesFlexible compensation structureOpportunity to work on complex, high-value litigation mattersCollaborative work environmentLong-term career growth opportunity#J-18808-Ljbffr
