A respected Southern California law firm is hiring a Litigation Attorney. This role presents an opportunity for a Litigation Attorney to engage in diverse civil litigation cases, providing significant value to clients, including public agencies. This position is well-suited for individuals seeking to advance their litigation skills in a collegial environment.Salary Range$120,000 - $210,000 / Year DOEBenefits401K with a 3% match, eligible after one year.Medical, dental, and vision insurance, effective the first of the month after starting.Unlimited vacation, contingent on meeting billable hours.Paid holidays.Cell phone reimbursement of $100 per month.Litigation Attorney ResponsibilitiesManage direct client contact and provide legal counsel on civil rights, personal injury, employment, and eminent domain casesDraft and file written motions, including motions to compel summary judgmentRespond to discovery requests and prepare for trialsTake and defend depositions as part of case preparationLitigation Attorney Requirements5 -14 years of civil litigation experience, with flexibility on years if strongWritten 10-20 motions (motion for summary judgment)Law degree from an ABA-accredited law schoolExperience in personal injury, civil rights, employment law, insurance defense, tort liability, or wrongful deathProficient in drafting written motions and responding to discoveryMust be barred in CaliforniaAbility to meet the billable hours requirement of 1850 per yearExperience in taking and defending depositions preferredTrial experience is a plusExperience representing public entities is a plus#J-18808-Ljbffr
