Job Details
- Defend insurance carriers and their insureds in a variety of litigated claims
- Manage a caseload from initial assignment through resolution, settlement, or trial
- Analyze coverage, liability, damages, and exposure to develop effective defense strategies
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, legal briefs, and other litigation documents
- Take and defend depositions of plaintiffs, insureds, experts, and witnesses
- Represent clients at hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trial
- Communicate with insurance carriers, claims professionals, and insureds regarding case strategy, evaluation, and resolution
