Litigation Associate

Our client, a nationally recognized Am Law firm with a growing presence in Denver, is seeking a mid-level litigation attorney to join its expanding disputes practice. This role offers the opportunity to handle complex, high-value matters with meaningful responsibility and direct client engagement.

The practice includes a significant focus on energy-related disputes and commercial litigation, with opportunities for courtroom exposure and hands-on case management. The firm fosters a collaborative environment and offers a flexible hybrid schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage litigation matters from inception through resolution, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery
• Take and defend depositions
• Participate in hearings, mediations, and trial preparation
• Work closely with clients on strategy, risk assessment, and negotiations
• Utilize discovery and case management tools to efficiently handle complex caseloads

Qualifications

• 5+ years of litigation experience in complex commercial or industry-focused disputes
• Background handling matters involving natural resources, property rights, or related regulatory issues is strongly preferred
• Demonstrated experience with trial preparation and courtroom proceedings
• Strong research, writing, and advocacy skills
• Experience working in fast-paced environments with competing deadlines
• Familiarity with e-discovery platforms and large-scale document management
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Active Colorado bar admission required

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary expected to range from $195,000 - $235,000, depending on experience
• Eligibility for performance-based bonus
