Associate Attorney Career Consulting Partners has partnered with a growing, well-respected plaintiff-side law firm with a strong focus on expanding their labor & employment practice. They handle wage & hour, discrimination, harassment, and wrongful termination claims. We are seeking a motivated Associate Attorney for the Las Vegas office across the street from "TPC Las Vegas." If you do not have labor & employment experience, the firm is open to training the right candidate and providing mentorship to support long-term growth in this practice area.Duties: Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, including complaints, motions, and other employment-related filings (e.g., wrongful termination, wage & hour, harassment, and discrimination claims)Manage all aspects of written discovery, including propounding and responding to discovery requestsPrepare for and participate in depositions, mediations, and settlement conferencesDraft and argue substantive motions, including oppositions to motions for summary judgment and motions to compelAppear in Nevada state and/or federal court for hearings, case management conferences, and motion practiceCollaborate with senior attorneys to develop a case strategy and litigation approachAnalyze and evaluate damages, including unpaid wages, emotional distress, and potential punitive damagesMaintain regular communication with clients, providing updates and managing expectations throughout the litigation processWork closely with paralegals and support staff to ensure compliance with deadlines and procedural requirementsRequirements: Licensed to practice in NevadaJ.D. from an accredited law school1 - 5 years of experience in Labor & Employment Law or Civil Litigation (Strongly encouraged to apply if interested in transitioning)Strong writing, analytical, and communication skillsAbility to manage deadlines and work in a team-oriented environmentDesire to grow within plaintiff-side employment lawCompensation & Benefits: Base Income Range: $120,000 – $160,000 (DOE)Plus an attorney fee structureMedical, Dental, Vision, Life401(k) Savings PlanOver 20 7-figure settlementsTraining and mentorship for attorneys transitioning into employment lawExposure to meaningful, impactful casesOpportunity to develop litigation skills in a high-demand practice areaLocation: Las Vegas, NV (Canyon Ridge)Hybrid work schedule#J-18808-Ljbffr
