Job Details
Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis supporting litigation strategy
Draft briefs, motions, pleadings, legal memoranda, and correspondence
Manage complex environmental and products liability litigation matters
Assist with all phases of litigation from case inception through resolution
Prepare for hearings, depositions, negotiations, mediations, and trials
Collaborate with attorneys and business professionals on case strategy
Build and maintain strong client relationships
Provide legal advice, updates, and matter support to clients
Ensure compliance with applicable legal standards and regulations
Monitor legal developments and relevant case law
Participate in professional development initiatives and firm programs
Support pro bono efforts and community engagement activities
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Active admission to practice law in California
Minimum 4+ years of litigation experience
California state court experience required
Experience in environmental litigation and/or products liability litigation
Prior law firm or government agency experience preferred
Strong legal writing and analytical abilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Excellent professional judgment and attention to detail
Strong interpersonal and client-service skills
