    Job Type : Full TimeLocation : Mill Valley, CaliforniaPay : Competitive Pay & Benefits!Job Description What you will be doing:
    • Run cases with the support of our professional staff and with the mentoring and guidance of the firm’s other attorneys as needed.
    • Work alongside the other attorneys on our larger cases.
    • Handle tasks such as working up cases from intake to trial, conducting detailed research regarding standard of care, causation, and damages in both personal injury and medical malpractice cases.
    • Review and analyze medical treatment records to assess the nature and extent of injuries including traumatic brain injury, paralysis, birth injury, and wrongful death.
    • Assist in finding appropriate medical and other experts to evaluate potential cases or support existing ones.
    • Conduct non-medical fact investigation regarding liability in cases involving trucking, motor vehicle accident, bike accident, dangerous condition, and product liability claims.
    • Draft offensive and defensive discovery.
    • Prepare clients for deposition, along with taking and defending depositions.
    • Research and write pre-trial motions.
    • Draft demand letters and mediation statements.
    • Fully participate in mediations and trials.
    Experience you will need:
    • Demonstrated interest in pursuing a career as a litigation attorney in personal injury and/or medical malpractice.
    • Strong general litigation experience either on the plaintiff or defense side of personal injury and/or medical malpractice litigation.
    • Exceptionally qualified recent law school graduates with a strong academic background and solid writing, analytical, and communication skills.
    • Prior trial experience is helpful but not required.
    • Ability to speak a second language, particularly Spanish, is beneficial.
    • Willingness to contribute to the continued long-term success and growth of the firm.
    • Open to hiring both junior lawyers with relevant experience and/or a strong academic background and more experienced attorneys in the personal injury and/or medical malpractice fields.
