Litigation Attorney

Watson, Caraway, Luningham, Bradley & Trammell, LLP is a well-established, AV-Rated civil defense litigation firm located in the DFW Metroplex. Our downtown Fort Worth office has an immediate opening for an experienced Litigation Associate with 5–10 years of civil litigation experience.

This position provides an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse range of cases involving varying subject matters and degrees of complexity. The ideal candidate will be an accomplished litigator with strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to independently manage all aspects of the litigation process.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting and responding to written discovery
• Taking and defending oral depositions
• Participating in hearings and other court proceedings
• Preparing pleadings, dispositive motions, responses, and legal briefs
• Conducting complex legal research and analysis
• Evaluating liability and damages and preparing case assessments
• Managing case files and litigation deadlines
• Preparing detailed status reports and correspondence for clients and insurance carriers
• Communicating effectively with clients, insurance carriers, opposing counsel, and the court

The ideal candidate will have exceptional legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills, along with the ability to handle complex litigation matters with a high degree of independence and professionalism.
