Litigation Attorney

Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Litigation Associate with 8‑10+ years of experience to join a boutique litigation firm in Houston. The role focuses on medical malpractice and/or general liability defense, though this experience is preferred but not required. Candidates must be able to manage cases and be comfortable with all aspects of litigation, including case assessment, discovery, depositions, and mediation. This partner‑track position offers a culture of collaboration, autonomy, and support.ResponsibilitiesManage and lead cases from inception to resolution.Conduct case assessment, preparation for discovery, depositions, and mediation.Work collaboratively with partners and staff to achieve firm goals.Qualifications8‑10+ years of litigation experience.Prior experience in medical malpractice and/or general liability defense is preferred.Member in good standing of the Texas Bar (required).Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.Compensation & BenefitsBase salary $165k‑$175k, depending on experience, plus generous quarterly and annual bonuses based on a 1,920‑hour billable requirement (potentially exceeding $200k).
