Attorneys are encouraged to take on meaningful responsibilities while working alongside experienced practitioners in a dynamic litigation practice.Position Overview Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP is seeking a mid-level litigation associate with 3+ years of experience handling catastrophic injury, wrongful death, general liability, and products liability litigation. The position is available in one of the firm's Texas offices with the option for a hybrid work arrangement.This role offers the opportunity to work on complex, high-exposure litigation matters while managing a diverse caseload and collaborating with a team of experienced attorneys. Associates in this position will take on significant responsibilities and contribute to the continued growth of the practice.Key Responsibilities Represent clients in catastrophic injury, wrongful death, general liability, and products liability litigation.Draft motions, legal memoranda, and complex legal analyses.Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategies.Manage and support litigation matters from early case evaluation through resolution.Collaborate with partners and team members on case strategy and client communication.Participate in business development initiatives and contribute to practice growth.Qualifications Admission to the Texas Bar in good standing (required).New York Bar admission strongly preferred.3+ years of civil litigation experience, preferably involving catastrophic injury, wrongful death, or products liability matters.Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.Excellent academic credentials.Interest in client development and business development activities.Professional Development Hinshaw is committed to attorney development and offers training, mentorship, and professional support designed to help attorneys build their skills and advance within the firm.
