Litigation Attorney

About This Role

We are looking for a Litigation Attorney with 2–3+ years of civil litigation experience to take ownership of plaintiff-side personal injury cases from depositions through trial. You'll join a collaborative, trial-focused team at TorkLaw — a national personal injury firm that has recovered hundreds of millions of dollars for seriously injured clients — and play a key role in driving impactful case outcomes.

On-site work policy=5 days in-office in Irvine, CA

What will you be doing?

• Take and defend depositions of defendants, plaintiffs, treating physicians, and retained experts
• Draft and argue law and motion work in California state and federal court
• Develop case strategy and work directly with medical, biomechanical, economic, and other experts to build case theory and damages
• Review and analyze medical records to identify mechanism of injury and causation issues
• Attend hearings, mediations, settlement conferences, and manage your caseload independently

Key Requirements

• Active California Bar license in good standing
• 2–3+ years of civil litigation experience (plaintiff-side preferred; strong defense-side considered). Candidates can also be fresh out of law school as long as they have passed the bar or are bar-eligible.
• Hands-on deposition experience — both taking and defending
• Demonstrated law and motion experience in California state court
• Comfort working with medical records, anatomy, and common injury treatment pathways
