Job Details

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to join our growing legal team. This attorney will manage personal injury matters from initial filing through resolution, including discovery, depositions, negotiations, mediation, and trial preparation.

The ideal candidate is a skilled advocate with strong litigation experience, excellent communication abilities, and the confidence to handle a high-volume caseload while delivering outstanding client service.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage personal injury litigation matters from inception through trial
  • Meet with clients, evaluate claims, and develop case strategies
  • Draft and file pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
  • Conduct and respond to written discovery
  • Prepare for and attend depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials
  • Coordinate with expert witnesses and litigation support teams
  • Negotiate settlements and advocate for favorable outcomes
  • Prepare cases for jury trials and courtroom proceedings
  • Maintain organized case files and meet litigation deadlines
  • Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to move cases efficiently

Qualifications:
  • Active Florida Bar license in good standing
  • 1–5 years of personal injury litigation experience preferred
  • Experience handling cases from filing through resolution
  • Strong understanding of civil litigation procedures
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong negotiation and analytical abilities
  • Ability to manage a large and active caseload
  • Confident courtroom presence and interest in trial work
  • Experience supervising or directing legal support staff preferred
