Job SummaryOur Litigation Attorneys litigate high value cases. They are responsible for all aspects of a case in state and federal court. This includes pre-trial prep, court appearances, motions, depositions, mediations, negotiations, and trial.
Duties and Responsibilities- Meet with clients and file lawsuits Propound and respond to written discovery
- Schedule and attend fact witness depositionsRetain all appropriate experts and attend all expert depositions
- Schedule and attend all hearingsPrepare for and attend mediations
- Prepare cases for trial and try cases to verdictPrepare and file appropriate post-trial motions
- Attend file audits, litigation attorney meetings, and trial clinicsQualifications and SkillsA license in good standing to practice law in Florida
- 1-5 years of experience as a PI Litigator The ability to handle a large and active caseload from filing through verdict
