Our litigation group represents businesses and institutions across a wide range of complex commercial disputes in state and federal courts and arbitration forums nationwide, covering matters tied to business sales and purchases, partnership and shareholder agreements, distribution and licensing agreements, commercial leases, construction contracts, executive compensation, and financing and lending relationships. Our attorneys try cases before judges, administrative bodies, and arbitration panels, and several have argued before the U.S. Supreme Court and federal and state appellate courts, with clerkship experience spanning the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, U.S. District Courts, Courts of Appeal, and Bankruptcy Courts.

Job Details

Complex commercial litigation docket for businesses and institutional clients, from inception through trial and settlement, spanning disputes across numerous industries.

  • Lead and manage litigation matters from inception through trial and/or settlement
  • Draft and argue motions, briefs, pleadings, and other court filings
  • Take and defend depositions; prepare witnesses and experts for testimony
  • Conduct and oversee discovery, including e-discovery, document review, and production
  • Develop case strategies in collaboration with partners and clients

Looking for:

  • Pennsylvania Bar admission, experience in federal court proceedings
  • 4+ years litigation experience

Experience in any of the following areas welcomed:

  • Breach of contract
  • Construction litigation
  • Real estate litigation
  • Business torts and complex commercial disputes
  • Employment claims, including Title VII and ADA
  • Restrictive covenants / non-competes
  • Insurance coverage
  • Shareholder / equity disputes
  • Product liability defense
  • White collar defense
  • Government & internal investigations
  • Appellate
  • Alternative dispute resolution
  • Defamation: libel, slander, and commercial disparagement
  • ADA Title III defense litigation
