This role is primarily onsite in Orlando, Florida, though strong hybrid candidates will be considered.Start: ASAPDuration: Long-term, indefiniteLocation: Onsite in Orlando, FL (strong hybrid candidates will be considered)Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week)Pay Rate: Starting at $65/hourResponsibilitiesConduct legal research and draft motions, briefs, pleadings, and demand lettersManage all aspects of discovery, including document review and discovery responsesPrepare for and take/defend depositionsWork with expert witnesses and assist with trial preparationCollaborate with litigation teams on case strategy and executionQualificationsActive Florida bar license, in good standing5+ years of commercial litigation experienceExperience handling either construction litigation or healthcare litigation matters is requiredStrong research, writing, and analytical skillsExperience with iManage, Litify, Epoch time management, and insurance defense billing narratives is a plusAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentLOD is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
