Litigation Attorney – Personal Injury (223/o)

Nationally recognized trial and appellate firm handling key cases such as asbestos, mesothelioma and tobacco, is looking for a Litigation Attorney to join their team. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience taking and defending depositions and will have 1st or 2nd chaired on at least a few trials. The attorney in this position will be handling various types of personal injury litigation.The position is full-time, on-site at the firm’s Miami, Florida office.

Qualifications

• MUST be a good standing member for the Florida Bar
• MUST have a minimum of 5+ years of litigation experience preferably in the area of personal injury, previous experience with class action litigation is a plus
• Must have 1st or 2nd chaired on at least 2 or more trials
• Must have knowledge and expertise in all phases of litigation from pleadings through trial
• Must have knowledge and experience taking and defending depositions
• Must have strong and persuasive oral advocacy as well as excellent writing skills
• Must be skilled in evaluating cases
• Must have strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Must have the ability to manage a high volume caseload
