One of New York's top plaintiff personal injury firms is seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to join our team. We are proud of our long history as a highly respected personal injury law firm, known for our commitment to excellence and exceptional client care.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of litigation experience handling New York Municipal Claims, a proven record of successfully resolving personal injury cases, and demonstrated leadership or management experience overseeing teams or case departments. This role offers the opportunity to play a key role in advancing complex cases and mentoring junior attorneys and staff within a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a caseload of complex personal injury matters from inception through resolution/verdict.
Conduct depositions, motion practice, court appearances, mediations, and trials.
Supervise and mentor junior attorneys, paralegals, and support staff.
Strategize and execute case plans to maximize outcomes for clients.
Communicate effectively with clients, experts, and opposing counsel.
Contribute to firm operations, growth, initiatives, and departmental leadership.
Qualifications:
J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to practice in New York.
Minimum 10 years litigation experience.
Strong understanding of personal injury law and procedure.
Excellent written and oral advocacy skills.
Prior management or supervisory experience in a law firm or litigation department is a plus but not required.
Strong organization skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
