Our fast-growing law firm is seeking an experienced Permanent Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic team. This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned professional with a strong background in civil litigation and insurance defense to work on a diverse range of cases and contribute to the growth and success of our firm. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of all aspects of litigation, including trial, arbitration, mediation, court appearances, legal research, pleadings, motion practice, and depositions.

Job Details

Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Litigation Attorney, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

1. Representing clients in all stages of litigation, from initiation to resolution.
2. Preparing and drafting a wide range of legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, briefs, and agreements.
3. Conducting thorough legal research to support case preparation and strategy development.
4. Providing legal representation for clients in court, at arbitration hearings, mediations, and other necessary appearances.
5. Managing depositions, including the preparation of witnesses and the review of deposition transcripts.
6. Advocating for clients in disputes involving general liability, auto liability, premises liability, and other areas of insurance defense.
7. Collaborating with other attorneys, paralegals, and staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality legal services.
8. Maintaining strict confidentiality and exercising discretion when handling sensitive information.
9. Keeping up-to-date with the latest legal trends, rulings, and regulations that may impact your cases or clients.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you must have:

1. A Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the Arizona State Bar.
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Civil Litigation Attorney, Associate Attorney, or a similar role.
4. Proven experience in insurance defense, civil defense, liability defense, premises liability, general liability, and auto liability.
5. An impressive track record of handling arbitration, mediation, trial, court appearances, legal research, pleadings, motion practice, and depositions.
6. Strong negotiation, communication, and courtroom advocacy skills.
7. Excellent legal research and writing abilities.
8. The ability to manage a high-volume caseload while maintaining attention to detail.
9. A commitment to providing exceptional client service.
10. A proactive approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
11. High ethical standards and professional integrity.
