Rai Duer, P.C. offers a professional environment where litigation skills are valued and developed, and client service is a central priority.Role DescriptionThis is a full‑time Litigation Attorney role based in Phoenix, AZ, with a hybrid work arrangement that allows some work from home. The Litigation Attorney will manage a caseload from inception through resolution, including legal research, drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery responses. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include taking and defending depositions, appearing in state and federal courts for hearings, mediations, and trials, and preparing clients and witnesses for testimony. The attorney will evaluate claims, develop case strategies, communicate regularly with clients and insurance carriers, and work collaboratively with firm partners and staff. The role also involves negotiating settlements, participating in case management conferences, and ensuring all deadlines and procedural requirements are met.QualificationsStrong foundation in Law, with experience in civil litigation and related practice areas (e.g., general liability, construction defect, commercial litigation, insurance defense).Demonstrated experience with Motions, including drafting, briefing, and arguing dispositive and procedural motions.Experience appearing in Courts, including hearings, conferences, mediations, and other court proceedings.Hands‑on involvement in Trials, including trial preparation, witness examination, and presentation of evidence.Proficiency with Depositions, including taking and defending depositions of parties, experts, and fact witnesses.Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school and active license in good standing with the Arizona State Bar (or eligibility for prompt admission).Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills, with attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.Effective communication and client‑relations skills, with the ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.Prior insurance defense and/or commercial litigation experience is preferred; familiarity with litigation management guidelines is a plus.#J-18808-Ljbffr
