About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Litigation Attorney licensed in Georgia to join our growing team in a fully remote capacity. This role is ideal for an attorney who is comfortable managing cases independently while collaborating with a distributed legal team.
The ideal candidate has strong litigation experience, excellent writing skills, and the ability to handle cases from inception through resolution.
Note: Candidates based in Texas who are also licensed in Georgia are highly encouraged to apply, though this is not required.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of litigation matters from intake through resolution
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal correspondence
- Conduct legal research and develop case strategies
- Handle depositions, negotiations, and settlement discussions
- Represent clients in hearings, mediations, and court proceedings (as needed)
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and internal team members
- Ensure compliance with Georgia laws, procedures, and deadlines
Qualifications
- Active license to practice law in Georgia (required)
- 2+ years of litigation experience (civil litigation preferred)
- Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines independently
- Excellent communication and client management skills
- Comfortable working remotely in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Based in Texas and also licensed in Georgia
- Experience with personal injury or civil litigation matters
- Familiarity with remote case management systems and legal tech tools
