I'm partnering with a highly regarded Washington law firm that is seeking a Litigation Attorney to join its Business Litigation team. What You'll Do
As a member of the litigation team, you will assist with and manage a variety of commercial litigation matters, including:
- Drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, and legal memoranda
- Managing written discovery and depositions
- Conducting legal research and case analysis
- Participating in hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations
- Assisting with trial preparation and trial proceedings
- Working directly with clients to develop legal strategies and achieve business objectives
- Collaborating with experienced litigators on sophisticated disputes
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Active Washington State Bar membership
- Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience
- Strong academic credentials
- Excellent legal writing, research, and analytical skills
- Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong client service orientation
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience handling commercial or business litigation matters
- Exposure to all phases of litigation from case inception through trial
- Entrepreneurial mindset with an interest in business development and client relationships
