Litigation Attorney

HumanHire is partnered with a respected Michigan-based litigation Law Firm to find a Litigation Associate to join their growing team in Troy. This position offers the opportunity to gain hands-on litigation experience while working alongside seasoned trial attorneys on a diverse range of civil defense matters.

• Pay: $135K - $200K Base Salary + Bonus

Responsibilities:

• Manage a variety of civil litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other litigation-related documents.
• Conduct depositions, attend court appearances, and assist with trial preparation.
• Perform legal research, evaluate cases, and develop litigation strategies.
• Communicate with clients, insurance carriers, and opposing counsel throughout the litigation process.
• Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to provide effective representation.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of litigation experience.
• Defense litigation experience preferred; plaintiff-side litigation experience will also be considered.
• Active Michigan Bar admission or eligibility for admission.
• Strong legal writing, research, and courtroom advocacy skills.
