Litigation Defense Associate Attorney (Hybrid in Madison, NJ) (Full-Time)
Location: Hybrid schedule in Madison, New Jersey
Salary: $140K - $170K, depending on JD year

Must Haves:

• JD from an accredited law school
• Admitted to practice and experience in New Jersey and New York state and federal courts.
• 2 years of experience with personal injury and premises liability

The Position

My client is seeking a Litigation Defense Associate Attorney to join a team of exceptional professionals in a collaborative environment to represent sophisticated clients facing complex legal challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently manage a litigation caseload, working cases from beginning to end
• Work closely with other attorneys and Partners on legal projects
• Regularly handle court appearances and depositions
• Communicate with clients and provide status reports

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school
• Admitted to practice and experience in New Jersey and New York state and federal courts.
• 2 years of experience with personal injury and premises liability
• Experience in commercial litigation and civil litigation is a plus.
• Experience with motion practice, report writing, discovery, and depositions preferred.
• Trial and trial preparation experience is a plus.
• Superior written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrated success in maintaining billable hours goals.
