LHH is partnering with a valued law firm client to identify a Litigation Legal Assistant. This position supports a complex civil litigation practice and offers the opportunity to work closely with attorneys throughout all phases of litigation. The ideal candidate will have litigation experience, e-filing experience, strong organizational and case management skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include preparing legal documents, managing case files and deadlines, coordinating filings, and assisting with trial preparation and other litigation support activities.
Responsibilities:
Manage calendars, schedules, and daily administrative tasks for attorneys and litigation teams.
Coordinate meetings, deadlines, and case-related activities to ensure timely progression.
Draft and handle legal correspondence, including letters, memos, and filings.
Organize, maintain, and update digital and physical case files.
Conduct legal and case law research to support litigation efforts.
Prepare, format, and review legal documents for accuracy and compliance.
Assist with billing and administrative tasks related to cases.
Communicate with clients, court officials, and internal teams to support case management.
Maintain strong attention to detail while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
Substantial experience in complex civil litigation or similar legal roles is highly desirable.
E-Filing experience.
Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Exceptional organizational and administrative abilities with a strong emphasis on precision and detail.
Superior written and verbal communication skills, with meticulous attention to grammar, punctuation, and style.
Proficient in proofreading to ensure documents are error-free and meet high standards.
Capable of efficiently managing multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Anticipated salary range: $58K to $70K
