Litigation Legal Assistant

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Litigation Legal Assistant for a well-established law firm in Jacksonville, Florida. This position will support a busy litigation practice with a strong emphasis on insurance defense matters. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of litigation legal assistant experience, including experience supporting attorneys in insurance defense cases.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and litigation support to attorneys throughout all phases of litigation

• Prepare, draft, revise, and file legal documents, pleadings, motions, and correspondence

• Coordinate and manage attorney calendars, deadlines, hearings, depositions, mediations, and trial schedules

• Assist with discovery, document production, and case management

• Maintain electronic and physical case files

• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, experts, and vendors

• Prepare trial notebooks, exhibits, and other materials for hearings and trial preparation

• Monitor deadlines and ensure compliance with court rules and procedures

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of litigation legal assistant experience

• Insurance defense experience is required

• Strong knowledge of Florida state court filing procedures

• Experience managing multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software

• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys and staff

Pay Details: $58,000.00 to $62,000.00 per year
