Litigation Legal Assistant
Location: Tacoma, WA (Hybrid)
Compensation: $72,000 - $85,000 DOE
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
LHH is working with a respected litigation firm who is seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant to support a busy team of litigators in its Tacoma office. This position is best suited for a candidate with substantial litigation experience who can effectively manage a high-volume desk with minimal training.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, proofread, format, and redline pleadings, motions, correspondence, and other legal documents
- Manage complex calendars, court deadlines, and scheduling logistics
- Coordinate depositions, mediations, hearings, and meetings
- Maintain case files and assist with document organization
- Handle Washington state and federal court e-filing requirements
- Coordinate discovery, service of process, and litigation support activities
- Open new matters and assist with ongoing case administration
- Ensure compliance with litigation deadlines and court procedures
Qualifications
- 5+ years of litigation legal assistant experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of Washington litigation procedures and court rules
- Demonstrated experience supporting multiple attorneys in a busy litigation practice
- Ability to manage deadlines independently and prioritize effectively
- Exceptional attention to detail and proofreading skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Experience with legal case management software is helpful but not required
