Job Description

The Litigation Legal Assistant will provide comprehensive litigation support to attorneys and legal teams while ensuring court deadlines, filings, case documents, correspondence, and administrative responsibilities are handled accurately and efficiently.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing, reviewing, formatting, and filing litigation-related documents.
• Supporting attorneys throughout various phases of the litigation process.
• Managing case files, legal records, and document organization.
• Coordinating attorney schedules, meetings, hearings, and case-related activities.
• Monitoring litigation deadlines and ensuring timely completion of required actions.
• Assisting with correspondence, legal communications, and case-related documentation.
• Maintaining confidentiality while handling sensitive legal information.
• Supporting administrative and operational functions associated with active litigation matters.
• Communicating professionally with clients, court personnel, attorneys, and internal stakeholders.
• Assisting with document management, reimbursement processing, and legal support activities.

• Minimum of three (3) years of direct Litigation Legal Assistant experience within a law firm environment.
• Demonstrated experience supporting litigation attorneys and legal teams.
• Hands-on experience preparing, managing, and filing litigation-related documents.
• Working knowledge of court procedures, litigation workflows, and e-filing systems.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and related Office applications.
• Experience organizing case files, maintaining legal records, and tracking litigation matters.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines, priorities, and assignments simultaneously.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to commute daily to West Palm Beach, Florida.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• No current or future visa sponsorship requirements.

• Experience managing litigation calendars and critical court deadlines.
• Experience supporting multiple attorneys simultaneously.
• Dictation transcription and legal correspondence preparation experience.
• Familiarity with legal technology platforms such as iManage, InTapp, LMS+, Kofax/Nuance, or similar systems.
• Legal Assistant certification, paralegal training, legal studies coursework, or related legal education.
• Experience working within high-volume litigation practices.
• Strong client service and relationship management skills.
• Demonstrated employment stability and progressive legal support experience.
• Proven ability to work independently while maintaining high levels of accuracy and professionalism.

• Candidates with frequent job changes, excessive employment gaps, or unstable work histories will not be accepted or interviewed.
• No direct litigation legal assistant experience.
• Background limited to transactional, corporate, estate planning, or non-litigation legal practice areas.
• No experience handling court filings, pleadings, motions, or litigation documentation.
• Seeking remote or hybrid work arrangements.
• Inability to commute daily to West Palm Beach, Florida.
• Lack of Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• Failure to meet the required qualifications listed above.
