Litigation Paralegal (Onsite Contract Position)

About the Opportunity

LHH is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal for an onsite contract opportunity with a respected law firm or corporate legal department. The ideal candidate will have strong litigation support experience, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment. This role will provide direct support to attorneys throughout all phases of the litigation process.

Responsibilities

  • Assist attorneys with all phases of litigation from case inception through trial.

  • Prepare, draft, and file pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents.

  • Manage and organize case files, exhibits, and litigation databases.

  • Coordinate document production and discovery processes.

  • Conduct legal research and gather case-related information.

  • Review, summarize, and analyze medical records, deposition transcripts, and legal documents.

  • Monitor court deadlines and maintain litigation calendars.

  • Prepare trial binders, exhibits, witness files, and hearing materials.

  • Communicate professionally with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and vendors.

  • Support attorneys with trial preparation and courtroom logistics.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of litigation paralegal experience.

  • Strong knowledge of litigation procedures and court filing requirements.

  • Experience managing discovery, document review, and trial preparation.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting critical deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Paralegal Certificate or Associate/Bachelor's degree.

  • Experience with e-filing in state and federal courts.

  • Familiarity with legal case management and document management software.

  • Prior experience supporting complex commercial, insurance defense, employment, or civil litigation matters.
