Position Overview
The Litigation Paralegal will provide comprehensive litigation support to a team of four attorneys throughout all phases of the litigation process. This position requires someone who can effectively manage multiple priorities, work collaboratively with attorneys and staff, and deliver exceptional attention to detail while maintaining billing expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Organize and maintain case files from inception through resolution.
Conduct factual investigations and assist with discovery preparation.
Prepare responses to interrogatories and requests for production, including electronically stored information (ESI).
Coordinate depositions and communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
Summarize depositions, medical records, and other case materials.
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery documents, and court filings.
Prepare and electronically file documents in both state and federal courts.
Assist attorneys with trial preparation, including exhibit organization, witness coordination, and trial support.
Verify legal citations utilizing Westlaw.
Maintain attorney calendars and monitor litigation deadlines.
Record billable time accurately and meet firm billing deadlines.
Perform additional litigation support duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum of 4 years of litigation paralegal experience.
