Litigation Paralegal

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a respected Jacksonville law firm to identify an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join its growing team. This opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented legal professional who thrives in a fast-paced litigation environment and enjoys taking ownership of cases from inception through trial.

The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of litigation experience, with a strong background supporting insurance defense matters.

What You'll Do

• Manage a caseload of insurance defense files through all phases of litigation

• Draft and prepare pleadings, discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, notices, and other legal documents

• Coordinate depositions, mediations, hearings, inspections, and expert meetings

• Review, organize, and summarize medical records, claim files, and other case-related documents

• Assist attorneys with trial preparation, exhibit management, and witness coordination

• Track court deadlines and ensure compliance with Florida procedural rules

• Conduct factual investigations and legal research as needed

• Maintain communication with clients, insurance carriers, opposing counsel, experts, and court personnel

Qualifications

• 2+ years of litigation paralegal experience

• Insurance defense experience required

• Strong understanding of Florida state court procedures and deadlines

• Experience with discovery, medical records review, and trial preparation

• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software

Pay Details: $65,000.00 to $68,000.00 per year
