OverviewUnder the management of the Associate Director of Paralegals and practice group attorneys, the Paralegal applies knowledge of law and legal procedures to assist clients in multiple functions. This position will assist attorneys in all aspects of litigation practice including preparation of pleadings, assistance with discovery, document review and organization, and preparation and attendance at hearings and trials.Base pay range$100,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yrResponsibilitiesSupport drafting pleadings, motions and appellate pleadingsManage complex document management using firm software; assist with electronic document productionAssist with trial preparation and attendance including witness preparation, exhibit lists, trial logistics and management of required vendorsAbility to use Lexis, Westlaw, PACER, and other online sourcesProficiency regarding cite checking and factual researchManage discovery requests including subpoenas, request for production, etc.Act as liaison between clients, colleagues and experts and related partiesPerforms other duties as assignedQualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
