Key ResponsibilitiesManage cases from inception through trial, settlement, and appealDraft, review, and revise legal documentsMaintain case files and update discovery logs and indicesSupport and manage document productions and eDiscovery processesAssist with deposition and hearing preparation, including exhibit organization and witness materialsConduct cite-checking for legal briefs and filingsCoordinate with litigation support teams on database management (e.g., iPro or similar platforms)Assist with document review using standard review toolsProvide high-level administrative and case management support to attorneysQualificationsAbility to qualify as a paralegal under California Business & Professions Code § 6450Bachelor's degree requiredMinimum 5 years of litigation paralegal experience in a law firm or in-house legal departmentStrong understanding of California and federal court procedures and rulesAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, etc.)Experience with eDiscovery tools and processes, including document management and productionProficiency with Adobe Acrobat ProFamiliarity with legal research platforms such as Westlaw and/or Lexis (preferred)Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environmentStrong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skillsHigh level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to confidentialityExpectationsMeet an annual billable hour target (approximately 1,575 hours)Availability to work extended hours as neededAbility to travel occasionally for case supportMaintain a reliable and professional work scheduleCompensation & BenefitsHourly pay range: $50.23 – $61.50, depending on experience, qualifications, and skill setComprehensive benefits package, including healthcare and retirement plansOpportunity to work on high-profile, precedent-setting matters within a collaborative team environmentAdditional InformationOur client is an equal opportunity employer and considers qualified applicants consistent with applicable laws.
