We are seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our Los Angeles office . This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional looking to build a long-term career with a stable and growing firm while gaining exposure to sophisticated litigation matters.This position offers a flexible hybrid schedule, combining in-office collaboration with remote work.The PositionAs a Litigation Paralegal, you will play an integral role supporting attorneys through all phases of the litigation lifecycle. You will work on complex matters, collaborate with experienced legal professionals, and contribute meaningfully to case strategy and preparation.This role is ideal for a proactive professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in producing high-quality work product.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport attorneys through all stages of litigation, from initial investigation through trial preparation.Conduct research using court databases and online resources to obtain case-related information.Review, analyze, and organize document productions from opposing counsel and third parties.Prepare summaries of deposition transcripts and key case materialsAssist with preparation of materials for expert witnesses, including organizing supporting documentationMaintain well-organized case files and manage large volumes of documentsTrack deadlines and support attorneys with case management activitiesCollaborate with attorneys and team members to ensure efficient workflow and strong client serviceDraft subpoenas and coordinate retrieval of medical, employment, and other relevant recordsQualifications3+ years of litigation paralegal experienceInsurance defense experience is a plusStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environmentStrong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple prioritiesExperience drafting subpoenas and managing records requestsExperience with insurance defense or insurance coverage matters is a plus, but not requiredWilson Elser offers a competitive salary and benefits package designed to support our attorneys both professionally and personally.A variety of factors are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to experience, education, licensure and/or certifications, geographic location, market demands, other business and organizational needs, and other factors permitted by law. This position is also eligible for discretionary bonuses. Final salary wages offered may be outside of this range based on other reasons and individual circumstances. This position is considered full-time and therefore qualifies for benefits including 401(k) retirement savings plan, medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance.
