Prospective team members can expect a collaborative environment that values integrity, attention to detail, and high-quality legal work.Role Description The Litigation Paralegal will support attorneys primarily in civil and family law matters, managing cases from intake through resolution. Daily responsibilities include drafting and formatting legal documents and pleadings, organizing and maintaining case files (both electronic and physical), coordinating discovery, and assisting with trial preparation. The role involves conducting legal research, reviewing documents for accuracy and completeness, preparing exhibits, and communicating with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel in a professional manner. This is a full-time hybrid role based in Murfreesboro, TN, with a regular in-office schedule and some flexibility to work from home as approved. The paralegal will also assist with calendaring deadlines, filing documents with courts, and supporting attorneys with other administrative and litigation-related tasks as needed.Qualifications Strong skills in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting pleadings, correspondence, discovery requests, and discovery responses.Proficiency in Document Review, including organizing, summarizing, and managing large volumes of case materials and exhibits.Demonstrated ability in Legal Research, using online legal databases and court resources to support case strategy.Hands-on experience preparing and filing Pleadings and Motions in state courts, with knowledge of applicable rules and procedures.High-level written and verbal communication skills, with careful attention to grammar, clarity, and tone.Strong organizational and time-management abilities, including managing multiple deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency with standard law office software, case management systems, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PDF tools).Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism with clients and colleagues.Preferred: Prior litigation paralegal experience, especially in family law or civil litigation.Preferred: Paralegal certificate or associate/bachelor's degree in paralegal studies, legal studies, or a related field, or equivalent experience.#J-18808-Ljbffr
