Sadis & Goldberg seeks an experienced Litigation Paralegal to help our growing, cutting-edge Litigation Practice. We are a boutique law firm specializing in representing hedge funds, private equity funds and investment professionals in high-stakes litigation. Our sophisticated litigation practice focuses on securities litigation, business divorce disputes, cutting-edge financial litigation, and defending government investigations.We seek an experienced full-time litigation paralegal/legal assistant. Applicants should have three years or more of experience, including significant experience with:Creating and maintaining case files, including monitoring deadlines and case dockets;Preparing and Executing document productions;Electronic filing of legal documents in federal and state courts;Using electronic discovery databases like Relativity and/or DISCO;Using Adobe to redact and bates-stamp documents;Using Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.);Using Westlaw, and cite-checking briefs;Generating Tables of Contents and Authorities for Legal Briefs;Preparing Exhibits for Deposition and Trial Testimony; andThe ideal candidate will be an organized, thorough individual who has strong attention to detail and enjoys working in a collegial, team-oriented atmosphere. This is an ideal role for someone who takes initiative, is a self-starter, and has the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines. A bachelor's degree and three years' experience working in a law firm setting are required. A degree or certificate in paralegal studies is ideal but not required.
