You will work closely with attorneys, clients, and medical providers to help cases move efficiently and meet all procedural requirements under Virginia law.Key ResponsibilitiesDraft, prepare, and file pleadings, motions, and discovery requests and responsesManage case files, litigation calendars, and critical deadlines, including statutes of limitationsReview, organize, and summarize medical records and billing documentationCoordinate depositions, mediations, and settlement packagesSupport trial preparation, including exhibits, witness coordination, and courtroom logisticsCommunicate professionally with clients, courts, medical providers, and opposing counselEnsure compliance with Virginia court rules, civil procedure, and e‑filing requirementsQualifications3+ years of Virginia personal injury litigation experienceStrong working knowledge of Virginia court rules, civil procedure, and e‑filing systemsProven ability to manage caseloads with accuracy and organizationExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience drafting legal documents and maintaining litigation filesProficiency with case management systems, with SmartAdvocate preferredAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environmentWhy Rutter Mills?Rutter Mills LLP is a well‑established and highly regarded personal injury firm with offices throughout Hampton Roads.
