Litigation Paralegal

Career Consulting Partners has teamed up with a successful plaintiff injury law firm with over 15 attorneys in Downtown Los Angeles. We are looking for an experienced Litigation Paralegal with a strong background in handling cases for injured victims. You won’t just manage files; you will be a key member of a dedicated and compassionate legal team that works tirelessly to protect consumer rights. Working in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment, you will directly assist a top-tier trial attorney and use your fluency in Spanish to deliver outstanding advocacy and exceptional service to our diverse client base.

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Oversee 50 + litigation matters from inception through trial preparation with support staff assistance.

• Draft, serve, and respond to written discovery; prepare legal documents, memoranda, and meet-and-confer correspondence.

• Handle e-filing and hand-delivery filings in strict compliance with local court rules.

• Manage the attorney's calendar, track critical deadlines, and schedule depositions, mediations, IMEs, and interpreters.

• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, medical providers, and legal experts to gather evidence and provide case updates.

• Maintain organized digital and physical files, assist with weekly time summaries, and process monthly invoices.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 3–7 years of Civil litigation experience handling personal injury cases.

• Open to plaintiffs and defense backgrounds

• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat.

• Superior organizational skills, high discretion with confidential data, and the ability to maintain composure under tight litigation deadlines.

• Ability to handle standard office physical tasks (bending, lifting up to 20 lbs, and occasionally guiding file carts up to 100 lbs).

• Compensation: $80,000 - $115,000
