    Description

    We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of personal injury law and a passion for helping clients.ResponsibilitiesCase Management:Open and close client filesMaintain accurate and organized case files, both physical and electronicTrack deadlines, court dates, and other important case milestonesPrepare and file pleadings, motions, and other legal documentsConduct legal research and prepare legal memorandaAssist with discovery requests, responses, and productionPrepare for depositions, hearings, and trialsClient Communication:Interview clients to gather information about their injuries, damages, and the accidentMaintain regular communication with clients, providing updates on case progressRespond to client inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional mannerMedical Records and Billing:Request and review medical records, bills, and other relevant documentsCalculate damages and prepare demand lettersAssist with the preparation of settlement agreementsTrial Preparation:Assist with witness preparation and coordinationPrepare trial exhibits and organize trial notebooksAssist with trial logistics, such as scheduling court appearances and arranging travelQualificationsBilingual in English and SpanishParalegal certificate or equivalent experienceStrong understanding of personal injury law and proceduresExcellent organizational and time management skillsStrong attention to detail and accuracyExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in legal research and writingProficiency in legal software, such as case management and document management systemsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong work ethic and a positive attitudePreferred QualificationsExperience in personal injury litigationKnowledge of medical terminologyExperience with insurance claims and subrogationIf you are a dedicated and motivated individual with a passion for helping others, we encourage you to apply.#J-18808-Ljbffr
