We are seeking a Litigation Paralegal/Legal Assistant to become a part of an amazing team! You will provide overall support to attorneys in building strong cases for clients. This role is specifically supporting attorneys on Personal Injury and Medical Malpractice cases. This role is an in-person role with an option to work in either in the Philadelphia suburbs or in Philadelphia.

Responsibilities:

- Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs

- Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases

- Organize and maintain legal files and documents

- Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings

- Communicate with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in legal proceedings

- Prepare and draft correspondence, memos, and other legal documents

- Assist in the preparation for trials, hearings, and depositions

- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records of case information

- Utilize document management systems to store and retrieve important files

Required Qualifications:

· HS Diploma/GED

· Previous experience as a litigation paralegal or legal assistant specifically with medical malpractice cases

· Familiarity with medical malpractice legal research

· Experience with data entry and document management systems

· Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

· Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

· Strong knowledge of project management principles

Preferred Qualifications:

· Associate degree in paralegal studies or related field or equivalent experience

· Knowledge of Clio Legal software

A successful candidate in this role will be able to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. You will need to have attention to detail and strong organizational skills along with excellent written and verbal communication skills and along with the ability to work well with others.
