This role provides comprehensive support throughout all phases of litigation, from pre-suit investigation through trial preparation, including drafting legal documents, managing discovery, and communicating with clients. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, exercise strong judgment, and thrive both independently and in a collaborative team environment.ResponsibilitiesProvide litigation support across a range of practice areas, including commercial, employment, construction, and personal injury mattersDraft, format, and proofread legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and correspondenceAssist with all phases of discovery, including document review, production, and preparation of discovery responsesConduct legal research and case investigations, and prepare case summaries including medical chronologies and billing analysesManage case files and litigation calendars, ensuring deadlines are met and documents are organized and accessibleCoordinate third-party records and documents through subpoenas, public records requests, and authorizationsCommunicate with clients, experts, vendors, and opposing counsel to support case developmentAssist attorneys with trial preparation, including assembling exhibits, preparing trial binders, and creating presentations or spreadsheets as neededQualificationsMinimum of 3 years of paralegal experience in a law firmPrior litigation experience in OregonWorking knowledge of legal terminology and procedures, including citation standards and legal formattingProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)Experience with legal software such as document management systems, timekeeping, and litigation support toolsStrong writing, proofreading, and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple deadlines and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environmentStrong analytical and problem‑solving abilitiesBenefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short‑term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits, and 401K plan.
