A highly regarded Orange County law firm is seeking an experienced Government Law Paralegal to support sophisticated public agency and litigation matters. This role offers strong remote flexibility and the opportunity to work on CEQA administrative records, eminent domain actions, code enforcement matters, Public Records Act requests, and other complex litigation matters.
Responsibilities
Support cases from inception through trial and appeal
Assist with pleadings, discovery, subpoenas, and correspondence
Manage court filings, deadlines, and case calendars
Prepare trial binders, exhibits, and witness materials
Support appellate filings and record preparation
Assist with document review, e-discovery, and litigation databases
Qualifications
5+ years of complex litigation paralegal experience
Trial support experience required
Public agency, government law, or CEQA experience preferred
Appellate experience strongly preferred
Strong knowledge of California and federal court procedures
Experience with Relativity, DISCO, or similar litigation support platforms
Paralegal certificate and/or bachelor's degree preferred
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines
Position Highlights
Hybrid schedule with strong remote flexibility (typically 1-2 days onsite)
Salary range: $105,000-$120,000
