The San Francisco office handles a substantial toxic tort caseload and continues to experience steady growth.

Schedule & Location

• San Francisco, CA
• Hybrid schedule: 3 days in office / 2 days remote
• Additional remote flexibility may be available for highly qualified candidates
• 7.5-hour workday

Top Qualifications

• 2+ years of toxic tort defense litigation experience
• Strong discovery experience in complex litigation matters
• Experience preparing deposition summaries
• Experience reviewing and summarizing medical records
• Ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Support attorneys throughout all phases of toxic tort defense litigation
• Draft, organize, and manage written discovery
• Prepare discovery responses and coordinate document production
• Conduct detailed document review and analysis
• Prepare deposition summaries and witness files
• Review, organize, and summarize medical records
• Assist with case investigations and fact development
• Maintain case files and litigation databases
• Coordinate with clients, experts, medical providers, and opposing counsel
• Assist with trial preparation and exhibit organization
• Monitor deadlines and litigation developments as needed

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of defense litigation experience, preferably in toxic tort matters
• Demonstrated experience handling heavy discovery responsibilities
• Proficiency with deposition and medical record summaries
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to prioritize competing deadlines and manage a busy workload
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and litigation support software
