We are seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant to support a busy litigation practice in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have strong California litigation experience, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while supporting attorneys through all stages of litigation.
· Support attorneys through all stages of litigation matters
· Prepare, format, proofread, and finalize legal documents and correspondence
· Perform state, federal, and appellate court filings including e-filing
· Prepare tables of contents and tables of authorities
· Prepare discovery shells and litigation-related documents
· Assist with trial preparation and trial support
· Maintain case calendars and monitor litigation deadlines
· Organize and maintain electronic and physical case files
· Utilize document management systems and litigation software efficiently
· Communicate professionally with attorneys, staff, clients, and court personnel
· Provide administrative and litigation support in a collaborative team environment
· Minimum of 5 years of California litigation experience required
· Strong knowledge of federal, state, and appellate court filing procedures
· Experience with e-filing, trial preparation, and trial support
· Familiarity with the litigation life cycle and discovery processes
· Excellent proofreading, writing, and attention to detail skills
· Strong organizational, calendaring, and follow-up skills
· Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and document management systems such as iManage
· Experience with CompuLaw, Best Authority, Adobe Pro, and CCC Macros preferred
