    Description

    POSITION SUMMARY

    The Live Depart Administrator is responsible for monitoring and supporting live load operations to ensure on-time service, accurate communication, and compliance with company standards. This position plays a critical role in maintaining driver performance, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency through proactive tracking, auditing, and communication.

    RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

    · Complete live loaded call audit processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards

    · Perform detention audits and ensure proper documentation and follow-up

    · Analyze dispatch information to assess driver ability to meet service requirements and timelines

    · Proactively monitor on-time pickup and delivery performance, as well as freight security, using prescribed systems

    · Coordinate load relays as necessary to prevent service failures, following established guidelines and procedures

    · Effectively communicate company policies, expectations, and service standards with drivers

    · Maintain a clear understanding of driver and customer interactions to support service success

    · Utilize AS400, Qualcomm, multi-line phone systems, and email to manage daily operations

    · Answer multi-line phones promptly to maintain communication standards with drivers

    · Process Qualcomm messages in a timely and accurate manner

    · Communicate service issues, delays, or driver concerns to Fleet Managers and leadership as appropriate

    · Maintain punctuality, organization, and efficiency in completing all assigned duties

    · Ensure consistent, professional communication with internal departments and drivers

    REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

    · Strong verbal and written communication skills

    · Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

    · Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

    · Working knowledge of dispatch systems and communication tools (AS400, Qualcomm preferred)

    · Ability to analyze information and make timely, effective decisions

    · Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

    QUALIFICATIONS

    · High School Diploma or equivalent required

    · Transportation/logistics experience preferred

    · Experience in dispatch, call auditing, or driver management highly preferred

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

    · Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer

    · Frequent phone communication

    · Occasional lifting up to 15 pounds
