Job Summary. What Youll Do:

As a Live-In Personal Care Assistant, youll provide compassionate, non-medical support that helps clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
• Helping with mobility, transfers, and ambulation
• Assisting with daily living activities, including meal preparation, shopping/errands, and light housekeeping.
• Medication reminders
• Light housekeeping, laundry, and maintaining a clean living environment
• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Accompanying clients to appointments or errands when appropriate
• Monitoring changes in a clients condition and communicating with the care team
• Follow individualized care plans to ensure each clients specific needs are met, and report changes in health status.

Requirements

• No experience required
• Previous experience in home health care or a related field preferred.
• Reliable transportation for client visits.
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable
• Willingness to live in the clients home during scheduled shifts
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable transportation to and from assignments
• Candidates may be required to complete a background check as a condition of employment, consistent with Connecticut state regulations and applicable federal law.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Must be reliable with a strong commitment to punctuality and professionalism.
• Able to lift up to 25-50 lbs and assist with physical transfers.
