About the Role:
***MUST BE A CERTIFIED HOME HEALTH AIDE WITH A NEW JERSEY HHA LICENSEFROM THE NEW JERSEY BOARD OF NURSING*** ComForCare Home Health Care - Burlington Camden is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Live-In Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to join their team in Burlington and Camden County, NJ. Responsibilities:- Provide live-in personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene support
- Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to ensure safety and comfort
- Monitor and document client health status, reporting changes to supervising staff
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Perform light housekeeping duties including laundry, cleaning, and errands
- Administer medications as directed and within scope of CHHA certification
- Provide companionship and emotional support to promote client well-being
- Follow individualized care plans developed by healthcare professionals
Requirements:- Valid New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification required
- Prior experience in home health care, personal care, or a related caregiving role preferred
- Ability to live on-site with the client for scheduled shifts
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient demeanor
- Ability to assist with physical tasks including lifting and transferring clients
- Reliable, punctual, and professional with a strong work ethic
- Valid ID and ability to pass a background check
