A private family is seeking an experienced, dependable, and detail-oriented Live-In Housekeeper to help maintain a beautiful, well-managed home. This unique part-time position (25 hours per week) includes a private apartment with a separate entrance, providing comfortable, independent living accommodations while offering a flexible work schedule.

Responsibilities

• Perform all aspects of housekeeping, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing, and maintaining a consistently clean and organized home.
• Manage household laundry, including washing, folding, ironing, and caring for fine clothing, linens, and specialty fabrics.
• Ensure the residence remains beautifully maintained and guest-ready at all times.
• Assist with household organization and seasonal projects as needed.
• Occasionally supervise visiting children of extended family members.
• Provide driving assistance for household errands or appointments when needed.
• Work independently while communicating effectively with the family regarding household needs and priorities.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a housekeeper in a private residence is required.
• Excellent professional references.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Experience caring for luxury garments, delicate fabrics, and quality household linens.
• Previous childcare experience with excellent references.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Professional, dependable, trustworthy, and able to maintain complete confidentiality.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Comfortable around horses and household pets.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Salary & Benefits

• $40,000 annual salary for a 25-hour workweek
• Private one-bedroom apartment with a separate entrance
