    • Develop engaging, play-based learning experiences that encourage curiosity, communication, confidence, and independence.
    • Support academic enrichment while incorporating functional life skills and executive functioning.
    • Utilize relationship-based teaching strategies, with DIR/Floortime experience strongly preferred.
    • Foster emotional regulation, social development, and problem-solving skills throughout the day.
    • Encourage outdoor exploration, community outings, and age-appropriate social experiences.
    • Work collaboratively with parents and other professionals involved in the child's care to ensure consistency and progress.
    • Maintain regular communication with the family regarding educational goals, observations, and developmental milestones.
    • Travel with the family on occasion as needed.

    Ideal Candidate

    • Experienced Private Educator, Special Educator, Learning Specialist, Child Development Professional, or similarly qualified individual.
    • Previous experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
    • DIR/Floortime experience, certification, or a strong working knowledge is highly preferred.
    • Warm, patient, engaging, and naturally enthusiastic.
    • Passionate about individualized education and relationship-based learning.
    • Creative, flexible, and able to adapt teaching methods to meet the child's evolving needs.
    • Comfortable working within a private household and collaborating closely with the family.

    Schedule & Compensation

    • Monday through Friday schedule with flexibility based on the family's needs.
    • Limited travel throughout the year.
    • Competitive annual salary of $120,000–$130,000+, depending on experience and qualifications.
    • Private live-in accommodations provided for live-in candidates.
