A distinguished executive couple with residences is seeking an experienced, polished, and hands-on Live-On House Manager/Butler to join their long-tenured team.
This individual will be the primary onsite presence in Southampton and will work closely under the guidance of the Estate Manager (based elsewhere) to ensure that the residence operates flawlessly every day.

Responsibilities
As the Live-On House Manager/Butler, you will oversee the seamless daily operations of a sophisticated household and provide elevated service to principals and guests.
Household Operations
- Conduct daily walkthroughs, identify issues, and prioritize resolutions.
- Manage household calendars, manuals, inventories, and digital records.
- Oversee property maintenance and coordinate vendors.
- Support housekeeping with specialty projects and hands-on tasks.
- Maintain vehicles (fueling, detailing, service coordination).
- Handle mail, deliveries, seasonal décor, special projects, and errands.
Hospitality & Service
- Work closely with the Chef on menus, events, and provisioning.
- Provide refined service for dinners, events, and guest stays.
- Ensure principals and guests enjoy a warm, discreet, and seamless experience.
Staff Leadership
- Supervise Southampton household staff and support a positive, collaborative team culture.
- Lead weekly team meetings and ensure tasks are executed to the estate’s high standards.
Qualifications

- Prior experience in a luxury home or high-end hotel.
- Strong leadership skills and a hands-on approach.
- Outstanding communication skills and professional demeanor.

- Tech-savvy with smart home systems.
- Comfortable supporting physical household tasks.
- Valid driver’s license; able to drive manual transmission.
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Discreet and respectful of privacy.

Schedule and Details
- Live-on accommodations in Southampton (a spouse may live with you on property).
- Busy summer season requiring evenings and weekends.
- Quiet, predictable Monday–Friday schedule in the off-season.

Compensation
- Compensation of $110,000 to $150,000 commensurate with qualifications and experience
